Open: All year round. Summertime Dec-April – really good waves for beginners. Green Season or rainy season has bigger surf, but it’s still good for beginners all year.

Type of Breaks: Beach Break, Point breaks, Reef breaks. Really a lot of variety.

Best Spots: Playa Hermosa, Escondida, Playa Esterillos, Jaco.

Accommodation: Beach front hotel in South Jaco/upscale boutique-style hotel. Ideal spot to learn how to surf.

Journey: Surf- Yoga and hikes daily. Schedule changes weekly because of tides. Really fresh and healthy meals. Massage, pedicure and facial for a little pampering at the end of the week. Horseback or Canopy tour also included. A visit to our custom bikini designer

Internet: At restaurant, lobby and some of the pool area. Central computer offered at lobby for guests

Lessons: 2-3 hours. All instruction and equipment provided. Instructors are certified by American Red Cross (CPR and First Aid).

Equipment available: Soft – Epoxy and Hard boards. All sizes and shapes.

Transport available: Airport transportation and ground transportation included, Land Rover Defender Surf Van for 9 people.
