Warm water waves ideal for beginner to intermediate surfers. Long sandbottom pointbreak; fast and fun deep water reefbreak; lots of beachbreaks; other secret spots on Java’s coast.

Accommodation:
Small, stylish beachfront hotel in front of the pointbreak. Simple fan cooled ‘Surfers Pad’ rooms or air-con OceanView rooms. Funky cafe/bar, hillside pool and chill out area with views of the surf. Travelling solo? Plenty of people do so it won’t take long to meet people and the locals are super friendly and welcoming.

Surf Lessons:
Around EUR15. We’ll introduce you to the local surfers for laidback lessons. It’s a casual approach, but hey, you’ll be learning to surf in an Indo village with local surfers – it doesn’t get any more real!
