Irish gems, Crab Island and Doolin Point in County Clare have come into the sites of developers planning a harbour and jetty. Local surfers and over 2000 others have expressed their concern that the development will damage the waves by causing backwash, and that the harbor will put them at risk from ferries.
These really are world class waves, so it would be crazy for the authorities to allow them to be destroyed.
