This fast-paced short film highlights a group of young surfers from an organization called Project WOO who are working with Nicaraguans to create a whole new model of surf-tourism in Gigante, Nicaragua. Join Surfing for Change Host and Professional Surfer, Kyle Thiermann as he encounters scores of off-shore barrels, weird food, and inspiring people on his adventure through the second poorest Country in the Western Hemisphere. Kyle’s journey engages in a critical look at the current model of surf tourism in the third world and how it’s changing!
