Surfing Heritage Foundation are hosting a book release party to celebrate the launch of Surfline’s World Wide Waves Volume 1: “Jeffreys Bay – Down the Line at the World’s Best Pointbreak” from 6pm on Saturday June 16th at Billabong in Irvine.
World Wide Waves is a series of in-depth, photo-rich books, with each volume focusing on one of the best waves in the world by celebrating its history, profiling its surfers, and examining the mechanics of the wave itself.
Join authors Marcus Sanders and Kimball Taylor, along with legendary surfers Shaun Tomson and Marc Occhiluppo (making an extremely rare appearance) for a special evening. Tickets include autographed limited edition J-Bay book, screening of the new Billabong movie “The Pure Line – the Story of Jeffreys Bay,” dinner and drinks. (Please note, this is taking place at Billabong, not SHF.)
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Surfing Heritage Foundation.
