The California Surf Museum is having its biggest-ever gala fundraising event on May 8, complete with a live silent auction.
The Inaugural Paddle Out Fundraiser will be held at the beautiful Ocean House Restaurant in Carlsbad, California, from 5–10pm. There will be live music with Super Wave, fabulous Hawaiian-style buffet and a silent auction with many limited-edition items. Surfing legends will also be in attendance to mingle with the crowd. Tickets for the event will be $55 per person for members and $65 for non-members. Tickets at the door will be $75, if available.
The funds generated from the Inaugural Paddle Out Fundraiser will help the California Surf Museum to relocate to it’s new location at 312 Pier View Way in the city of Oceanside. This new address will be an historic opportunity to become a truly significant part of the world surfing heritage, and all funds generated will help to provide interior improvements to the new facility to showcase surfing for decades to come. The new facility will allow CSM to expand the exhibit space, provide additional educational opportunities and increase its much needed archival space.
To reserve a spot at the fundraiser, purchase tickets online or buy them directly from the California Surf Museum, located at 223 North Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA 92054.
