DOCUMENTARY FILM EVENT RAISES OVER $4400 FOR VETERANS COUNSELING CENTER IN SAN DIEGO, CA
Pure Frustration Productions is proud to announce that the first veteran’s benefit screening of their documentary film ‘Between the Lines’ sold out, and raised over $4400 dollars for the Veterans Village San Diego-Rick Thomas Counseling Center.
Narrated by acclaimed writer and director John Milius, ‘Between the Lines’ explores the Vietnam War through the prism of the surfing sub-culture. The film offers unique insight into the dramatic effect that the Vietnam War and draft had on young American men who rode waves.
The next screening will take place on the evening of July 25th, at the Huntington Beach, California Art Center. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Long Beach Veterans Hospital Prosthetics Lab.
In late August or September an exclusive screening will be held in Westwood (West Hollywood), California. This event will benefit the Westwood Veterans Hospital.
A 165 page limited edition coffee table book, also entitled ‘Between the Lines’, will be available at these events for $39.95.
