What: Sacred Craft Consumer Surfboard Expo
Where: Del Mar Fairgrounds Wyland Exhibit Hall
When: October 11 & 12, doors open at 10am both days
Cost: $5 / U16 Free

Surfers attending the Sacred Craft Consumer Surfboard Expo on October 11 & 12 will be treated to three brand new surf movies. Cyrus Sutton’s ‘Under The Sun’, which contrasts two surf cities on the east coast of Australia, Duncan and Malcolm Campbell’s surfboard design opus ‘Bonzer: The Mothership’, and PureFrustrationProductions’ ‘Between The Lines’, a film that excavates the surfer’s dilemma during the Vietnam War, all screen free with the cost of admission.

“We wanted to add a new twist to this years expo,” said John O’Connell, events liason for Sacred Craft. “With so many great surf documentaries out there, we feel that bringing some of them into the mix makes alot of sense. We’re confident the surfers attending the expo will agree.”

“We are extremely stoked to be showing our film along with these other fine films.” said Ty Ponder, executive producer of ‘Between The Lines’. “The three together makes for a great mix of subject matter. One explores the surf industry and surf culture, one is focused solely on a surfboard design; and our film, which has a mainstream element to it. There is something for everyone.”
