Mavericks Contest Alert - Sunday 20th Jan

This SHOULD be good.
Despite our misgivings about high expectations in the face of incredible surf forecasts, it seems likely the Mavericks contest will run on Sunday. It seems likely, too, that there will be very large waves. In all likelihood, they should be clean. And if all the above come through – likely as they are – there should be some incredible rides by an A-list group of contestants on one of the world’s nastiest big-wave reefs.
