The latest from Nomad Surfers…
I believe that the North Shore is to surfers what the Mecca is to the Muslims: every surfer should visit it at least once in their life time!
The surf is powerful, with lots of water moving around. For those Europeans reading this, its like the Canary Islands on steroids…
And now it’s a great time for Europeans to visit Hawaii, as the Euro is currently much stronger than the US Dollar.
Nomad Surfers have recently launched a new surf camp in Oahu, Hawaii. The house is on the North Shore, just minutes from Haleiwa on beautiful Mokuleia Beach. It is run by Edison, a former lifeguard who’s been surfing the North Shore for more than 20 years.
The accommodation consists of a very comfortable beach house where the atmosphere is relaxed and the vibe is all about surfing and having fun. There is a surfari package to go surf for those of you who want to charge big waves and stay at a local’s house, but they are also offering a surf camp package for those who want to visit beautiful Hawaii and learn how to surf in warm water, surrounded by lush vegetation and floating turtles. The camp is opened all year. In summer months the islands receives south swells so there is waves all year round in one side or the other.
