They have a million clever ways of convincing us that, e.g. up is in fact down, hot is actually cold and caring about this stuff is a bad/damaging/uncool thing. They make it sound ‘inevitable’ or ‘essential’ to our well-being and the well-being of millions of human beings and animals, etc etc etc.
Don’t. Be. Distracted.
