Help the EOS go online
EOS = The Encyclopedia of Surfing, a massive and brilliantly constructed book by Matt Warshaw that came out in 2003.
Warshaw, a former editor of Surfer magazine, has seen the writing on the wall when it comes printed paper, so now he’s putting the whole EOS online. To do this in one dimension would be a mammoth task but add in the depth offered by the internet and it looks like he’s creating a universe – video, photo sequences, audio, interlinking of everything, perpetual updating, etc.
He needs help, and here’s his appeal:
