Museum of British Surfing opens its doors

06:23PM Fri, 20th April 2012

Last week the new Museum of British Surfing held a launch party to celebrate their new permanent home in Braunton, North Devon.
The Museum’s fantastic renovated stone building is now Europe’s first dedicated surf museum. On show was an exhibit called “The Art of Surf” with boards and other British surf paraphernalia going back to the 1920s.
A couple of weeks ago we urged TSP web visitors to go along and check it out, but if you couldn’t make the opening night, don’t worry, this museum aint going anywhere. And just so you get the idea, here’s a video of the night itself.
