Quik Pro France Snack Pack

The Quik Pro France came and went pretty quick. Gabriel Medina, a 17-year-old Brazilian who’d only joined the World Tour ten days earlier, burned through the field taking scalps from men over twice his age, including tour leader and 10x champ, Kelly Slater (39).
The surf was good, not epic, but the surfing was exceptional and there was changing-of-the-guard feel to the whole event as new kids like Julian WIlson and the 2nd-year star of the moment, Owen Wright showed that their time is now.
