A Film by Chris Cutri
This is an excellent, thoughtful examination of the state of surfing today, especially in relation to the surf industry and how it affects us, the surfers of the world. It manages to combine a range of opinions about the state of surfing in 2007, from the radical ‘purist’ views of some, like Dave Parmenter, to the corporate perspectives of some of the biggest names in the surf clothing industry, like Quiksilver’s Bob McKnight and Billabong’s Paul Naudé.
There’s never been a more honest and direct assessment of how big bucks might have affected our watery nirvana. Every surfer should watch it.
