The Inertia's Sine Qua Non

07:32PM Fri, 26th October 2012

This being the season for big waves and movies about big waves, here’s another fantastic film about … big waves.
Sine Qua Non (Without which [there is] Nothing): Greg Long, a man who’s driven, for reasons this film deftly searches for, to ride enormous, life-threatening waves.
It is the first such mini documentary (25mins) made by the often excellent website, The Inertia.
Only criticism? Why so little about brother Rusty? Did the two of them not push each other. The film makes it sound like Greg did this influenced solely by his Dad and his inner urges.
As crits, go, that’s not a bad one. Great film about a amazing guy.
